Here at Tello Interiors, we help clients think bigger than the details.

As Sensory-led designers, we partner with boutique hotel owners, developers and architects in Portland and the Willamette Valley to explore the outer boundaries of their design ideas and connect each detail—from acoustics, light levels and soft vs. hard materials—to a bigger, more meaningful vision. Having worked on large-scale design projects for 20+ years, we believe real design is responsive to space, not just taste, and root our design approach in both the essence of an interior and how clients want people to feel moving through it.

We’re known for approaching commercial work with the level of detail more commonly seen in residential design.

Concerned about the rampant sustainability issues in design, we also work with similar-minded clients to make thoughtful design choices and source locally-made, custom pieces where possible.

We love to work with clients who want to step into bold new territory. In addition to boutique hotels, we specialize in tasting rooms, hotels, large scale residential, multi-family housing, public spaces and private residential.

“I appreciated Christina’s ability to take elements of the hotel’s strength, what makes it special, and work with those characteristics while elevating the overall look and feel of the space. Most importantly, she is passionate about what she does, and cares. It really shows in her work and in the effort she puts in. Even some of the vendors mentioned this to me when they found out I was working with Christina.“ – John Lee, VIP Hospitality, Coho Lobby and Surfland Hotel
